Close Protection Officer

We are seeking experienced and professional Close Protection Officers to support clients across London. This role requires discretion, strong judgement, and the ability to operate calmly in both low and elevated risk environments.

You will be responsible for the personal safety and security of the client, managing risk proactively while maintaining a low profile and professional presence at all times.

Key responsibilities

• Provide close protection to principals in residential, business, and public settings
• Conduct dynamic risk assessments and adapt plans as situations change
• Advance planning, route selection, and venue reconnaissance
• Liaise with drivers, household staff, and wider security teams where required
• Maintain accurate reporting and clear communication
• Uphold strict confidentiality and professional standards at all times

Essential requirements

• Valid SIA Close Protection licence
• Proven close protection experience, UK or overseas
• Strong situational awareness and decision making skills
• High levels of personal presentation and professionalism
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
• Right to work in the UK

Desirable

• Military, police, or specialist security background
• Medical training such as FPOS, EFR, or equivalent
• Experience working with UHNW individuals or corporate principals
• Full UK driving licence
